Nicholas planning legislation to substantially lower residential property taxes and increase long-term savings to ensure Wyoming’s economic freedom for future generations.

Cheyenne – State House District 7 Representative Bob Nicholas said Cheyenne area families can count on economic vibrancy, a high quality of life for their families and lower property taxes if re-elected.
Nicholas, a conservative Republican and Wyoming native, said while east coast interests drive his opponent’s negative agenda, his rock solid and positive focus is on what his district constituents need and expect: that their hard-earned money stays in their own pockets. The working people of Wyoming are Nicholas’ priority with tax relief and smart savings so that working families and their children’s families can thrive far into the future.

Nicholas further explained, “Our State’s financial security is derived primarily from production from our natural resources – of which there is a finite supply. It is essential we are conservative by saving more money and ensuring a strong return on the money we save.”

Over the last two years, by the actions of the Appropriations committee, that I chair, we saved nearly $2 billion dollars and gave it a job – to earn investment returns so that you aren’t taxed. If elected I promise to double down on savings so that your taxes are lowered and so that your future and your children’s future is strong and secure.”
